This post is also about how to sign an android apk to publish it to the android market.
I have already shown another method to sign the apk, which is through the command line.

How to sign an android APK ? – a simplest way

Here is another simple method without using the command line options to create a keystore file and then sign your apk to upload to the android or any other markets such as amazon markets.

1. OK we will start by creating a sample project named “Test”.

Look at the screenshot 1.

2. Now double click on the AndroidManifest.xml file.
Set the appropriate version number and version code for your project.

3. Now below this there is a link called “use the export wizard”. Click on that.

then another window will open, there select your desired project.

4. click Next, then you will be asked for a keystore, if you have a keystore file then browse and locate the file.
OR
Create a new one.
If you have a keystore file the after locating the file you have to give the password.

Click on Finish and your APK file will be created in the destination directory.

If you are creating a new one then…

Go through these steps by filling in the details that appear in the dialog.

Clicking on Finish will create your signed APK.

5. Now Give a location for you signed apk file.- Click finish -> Your signed APK is ready for upload to the market.

According to sources, the specs of the Samsung Galaxy S III have been leaked on the Web.

These are some of the features from the sources..

A 4.8-inch full HD 1080P resolution with 16:9 aspect ratio.
It will be powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor.
Features a front facing 2 MP camera for video calling and an 12 MP rear camera.

Release dates starting from May 2011, by more than 140 vendors in some 120 countries.

The much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy S3 is expected to be unveiled on May 3 in London, at the Samsung Unpacked event

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S3 smartphone is expected to include a quad-core processor.

Several rumors, however, indicate that the phone will feature a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display, 1080p playback, LTE, Android Ice Cream Sandwich (likely with TouchWiz on top of it), Gyroscope, Barometer, and other exciting features.

To enable easy multi-tasking process and playing games, it is rumored that the smartphone will come with 2GB RAM. It is likely to be the first smart phone to boast 2GB of RAM, and will come with a generous 32GB of storage.

The smartphone is expected to have the latest release of the Android OS – Ice Cream Sandwich, which has the following new features included:

- Face Unlock, a feature that allows users to unlock handsets using facial recognition software
- Better voice integration and continuous, real-time speech to text dictation
- Virtual buttons in the UI, in place of capacitive or physical buttons
- New tabbed web browser, allowing up to 16 tabs

The speeds are not yet available but 4G can hit up to 14 or 21 Mbps on HSDPA. WiFi, Optional NFC, USB on the go etc. are some spectacular features on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
